Caldron Chenbang CCI-E5 Eco Solvent Ink | Premium 1000ml Wide Format Ink (CMYK)

The Caldron Chenbang CCI-E5 Eco Solvent Ink is a high-yield, professional-grade eco-solvent ink formulated for modern wide format printers. Supplied in convenient 1000ml bulk bottles with ergonomic handles, the CCI-E5 series (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) is engineered to deliver striking color vibrancy, smooth gradations, and reliable jetting performance. Manufactured under strict quality controls by Adventech Inks for the Caldron Graphics brand, this digital printing ink utilizes a refined eco-solvent carrier that offers an excellent balance between aggressive media adhesion and low environmental impact. Unlike harsh true solvent inks, the CCI-E5 is safe for use in standard print shop environments with basic ventilation. Whether you are producing high-resolution indoor signage, custom wall decals, vehicle stickers, or outdoor vinyl banners, the Caldron Chenbang CCI-E5 provides a durable, scratch-resistant finish that satisfies the high standards of commercial large format printing.

Key Advantages of Caldron Chenbang CCI-E5 Eco Solvent Ink

✔ Optimized E5 Viscosity Formula

The CCI-E5 formulation is specifically calibrated for the most popular eco-solvent printheads on the market (such as Epson DX5, DX7, and F-series). This ensures flawless ink flow, prevents nozzle blockages, and maximizes the lifespan of your wide format printer components.

✔ 1000ml Bulk Ergonomic Design

Packaged in 1000ml (1 Liter) bottles with built-in handles, the CCI-E5 makes refilling your digital printing equipment clean and easy. Bulk sizing reduces the frequency of ink changes, lowering the risk of introducing air bubbles into the ink lines and reducing your cost-per-print.

✔ Low Odor & Shop-Friendly

Engineered with a low-VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) eco-solvent base, this eco-solvent ink produces minimal fumes compared to aggressive industrial solvents. It is safe for print shops operating in shared commercial spaces or retail environments without requiring heavy-duty industrial exhaust systems.

✔ Brilliant Color Gamut

Manufactured with high-purity colorants, the CCI-E5 CMYK sign ink delivers ultra-vivid reds, deep blues, and rich blacks. It provides exceptional color density that pops on both glossy and matte coated media, ensuring your large format printing looks premium.

✔ Excellent Scratch & Water Resistance

Once cured, the Caldron Chenbang eco-solvent ink forms a tough, flexible layer on the substrate. Prints resist smudging, moisture, and light abrasion, making them highly durable for indoor displays and short-to-medium-term outdoor applications without mandatory lamination.

✔ Strict Quality Control (Adventech Inks)

Produced by Adventech Inks under the Caldron Graphics umbrella, every batch of CCI-E5 undergoes strict 0.2-micron filtration and chemical testing. This guarantees batch-to-batch color consistency, so your digital printing outputs look identical from the first bottle to the last.

Caldron Chenbang CCI-E5 Eco Solvent Ink FAQ

The CCI-E5 is designed for eco-solvent printers utilizing piezoelectric printheads like the Epson DX5, DX7, and F-series. You should not use this ink in true industrial solvent printers (which require harsher chemical inks), nor should you use it in standard desktop office inkjet printers. Always ensure your wide format printer is specifically rated for "eco-solvent" or "mild solvent" inks before installing the CCI-E5 to avoid damaging the digital printing equipment.

Eco-solvent inks rely on a specific chemical balance of solvents and pigments. If the ink is stored below 20°C, the viscosity thickens, which can cause poor jetting, missing nozzles, or printhead clogs. If stored above 35°C, the solvent can begin to evaporate inside the bottle, changing the ink's chemical ratio and potentially causing the pigment to clump. Storing your CCI-E5 digital printing ink within this 20°C–35°C range guarantees consistent, reliable printing performance.

For many applications, lamination is optional. The CCI-E5 eco-solvent ink offers good natural resistance to water and light scratching, making it perfectly fine for indoor wall graphics, posters, and short-term outdoor banners. However, for applications where the print will face heavy physical contact (like floor graphics), extreme weather, or where a high-gloss/matte finish is desired, applying a liquid or film laminate over the large format print is highly recommended to maximize lifespan.

While the CCI-E5 is an eco-solvent formula and safer than true solvents, it is still a chemical product. As stated on the bottle's First Aid label, if the eco-solvent ink comes into contact with your skin, wash the area thoroughly with soap and warm water. If it gets into your eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of clean water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice. It is always best practice to wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses when refilling the 1000ml bottles into your wide format printer.
