The Seiko 508GS Printhead is a highly reliable industrial inkjet printhead designed for consistent performance and an extended service life. Manufactured by Seiko Instruments in Japan, it delivers highly accurate ink droplet control for superior print quality. While a compact i3200 epson is typically used for light-duty DTF or eco-solvent applications, the Seiko 508GS is built to withstand the harsh chemical compositions of aggressive solvent and UV inks that would quickly degrade a standard epson print head or hp printer head.

This SPT-1020/12pl printhead features a grayscale design with a built-in damper assembly and nozzle guard. Available as the original Seiko part number IRH2533 (the direct replacement for the older IRH2513 generation), this printer printhead is compatible with solvent, UV, and water-based inks. It is the trusted workhorse for continuous-use commercial and industrial inkjet printhead systems, seamlessly fitting into wide-format platforms like the Infiniti Challenger, CrystalJet 6000 Series, Icontek, and Kerajet K700.

The Seiko 508GS industrial inkjet printhead is used in commercial large-format printers for high-volume signage, banners, vehicle graphics, and industrial packaging. It is specifically designed to jet aggressive solvent and UV inks at high speeds.

The i3200 epson and standard hp printer head are designed for light-duty, low-viscosity inks and have a relatively short lifespan under heavy stress. The Seiko 508GS is a ruggedized printer printhead with a built-in damper and non-wetting nozzle plate. It handles highly viscous, aggressive solvents that would destroy a standard epson print head, making it a true industrial workhorse.

The physical dimensions and jetting performance (508 nozzles, 72mm width, 12pl drops) are identical. The difference lies in the internal fluidics and seals. The Green Label variant is chemically resistant for solvent and UV inks, while the Blue Label variant is optimized for aqueous, water-based inks. You must choose the correct variant for your inkjet printhead system.

The IRH2533 is the current, modern replacement generation for the discontinued IRH2513 printhead. It offers the same drop volume and footprint but features updated internal piezo technology for better reliability and consistency. The IRH2533U drops directly into printers originally designed for the IRH2513.
