The Seiko SPT 510 / 35pl Printhead is a highly reliable industrial inkjet printhead known for its ruggedness and high-speed performance. Designed by Seiko Instruments (SII) in Japan, it features a drop-on-demand shear-mode piezo mechanism that ensures stable ink flow. While a compact i3200 epson is typically used for light-duty DTF or eco-solvent applications, the SPT 510 printhead is built to handle the harsh, aggressive solvent and UV inks required for grand-format outdoor advertising.
Equipped with 510 active nozzles and a 35pl droplet volume, this printer printhead delivers strong ink coverage and high-resolution output up to 720 dpi. Its steel-plate nozzle protection gives it a significantly longer service life—lasting 4 to 5 times longer than many common 128-nozzle printheads, and far outlasting a standard epson print head or hp printer head in heavy solvent environments. It supports oil-based, UV, and solvent inks, making it ideal for signage and vehicle wraps. Its wide 71.8mm print width reduces the number of printheads needed to build a print bar, simplifying machine design for OEMs building large format printhead systems.
The current IRH1513D-3322/3311 printhead is the direct replacement for the earlier IRH1513D-1321 version. It is universally compatible with grand-format digital printers, including Infiniti printers FY-3206, EFI Vutek, Roland, Gongzheng, and Icontek models.
